The Senior Life Center is making a difference in aging by providing specialized therapeutic treatment for adults ages 65 and over. Senior Life is located at Parkridge Medical Center.
When should people consider seeking professional assistance?
- If an older relative or friend seems confused,
- has trouble remembering,
- does things that are out of character,
- seems depressed,
- has trouble sleeping
- or becomes resistant,
If any of these signs are apparent, then someone who cared about them would want to ask questions. Their problems may be related to feelings of loneliness, boredom or grief or they could be taking several medications, which when combined may be causing or contributing to their problems.
Senior Life Center can provide information about medical and community resources that make it easier to evaluate options and understand treatment. Their staff of certified professionals has both the education and experience that enables them to serve the older population.
